About THMT-27
THMT-27 will bring together researchers and practitioners working in turbulence,
heat and mass transfer, reacting flow, multiphase flow, modelling, and
advanced numerical simulation. The symposium aims to highlight recent advances,
emerging challenges, and practical engineering applications.
The topics of the symposium include, but are not limited to:
- Experiments, techniques and theories on scalar transport in forced, natural and mixed convection
- Numerical simulations/modelling of turbulence, heat and mass transfer: DNS/LES, hybrid RANS/LES, DES, PANS, PDFs, (U)RANS, LBM
- Unsteadiness, transients, and effect of body forces in turbulence, heat and mass transfer
- Turbulence control and heat transfer enhancement
- Heat and mass transfer in compressible and high-speed flows
- AI and machine learning thermal fluids
- Particulate matter and droplets
- Combustion and chemically reacting flows
- Environmental and geophysical flows and transport phenomena
- Utilization of heat and mass transfer in energy, process and environmental technologies
- MHD flows and micro/nano fluidics
