Call for Papers

THMT-27 welcomes original contributions in turbulence, heat transfer, mass transfer, reacting flow, multiphase flow, experiments, modelling, and simulation.

Scope

Suggested topic areas include, but are not limited to:

  • Experiments, techniques and theories on scalar transport in forced, natural and mixed convection
  • Numerical simulations/modelling of turbulence, heat and mass transfer: DNS/LES, hybrid RANS/LES, DES, PANS, PDFs, (U)RANS, LBM
  • Unsteadiness, transients, and effect of body forces in turbulence, heat and mass transfer
  • Turbulence control and heat transfer enhancement
  • Heat and mass transfer in compressible and high-speed flows
  • AI and machine learning thermal fluids
  • Particulate matter and droplets
  • Combustion and chemically reacting flows
  • Environmental and geophysical flows and transport phenomena
  • Utilization of heat and mass transfer in energy, process and environmental technologies
  • MHD flows and micro/nano fluidics
